Created by perfumer Christine Nagel, Peony and Blush Suede was launched just last year. This is a very floral fragrance for women. This is a great spring scent, with very strong notes of peony and gorgeous, juicy red apples lingering through the first spray. A bouquet of rose, jasmine, and carnations are settled into the heart of the fragrance and the fragrance dries down into a sweet, fruity suede aroma. It is simply divine and delicious for the fresh breezy spring weather. The suede gives this fragrance a warm touch and can be compared to leather found in many men’s colognes, but with more of a feminine aura. This is a very long lasting scent compared to many other light spring fragrances on the market.
Created in 2006 by Alberto Morillas, Bright Crystal is a soft and luminous floral fragrance. This is a very pleasant fragrance to wear during spring/summer for a lunch date, wedding, or day party and is even light enough to wear in most work places. As the name portrays, this is indeed a very bright fragrance and holds a very cheery essence to it. Upon first spray, you are hit with a blast of citrus from the yuzu and a light watery note of pomegranate. The fragrance then settles into the heart of florals with a main note of peony, followed by magnolia and an aquatic lotus scent. The fragrance dries down with some warmth from the amber, mahogany, and musk accords.
Pretty by Elizabeth Arden was launched in 2009 as a daytime spring fragrance. This is a fresh and sweet floral bouquet with strong notes of peony and jasmine. This is very feminine…refreshing…flirty. It gives off the vibes of youth and simple daily delights. This fragrance starts with refreshing mandarin, orange blossom, and peach. Then come the main notes of peony and jasmine with a gentle breeze of lily in the background. The base is delightful and pleasant with woody notes, musk, and soft amber.
