One of the obvious things that we love about fall are the orange, red, and yellow leaves that fill the branches of the streets. The earthy-vibrant colors are the start of the season and remind of the various holidays that are about to come.
From perfume, to candles, to Thanksgiving dinner…there is nothing like the aromas of fall. The scents are richer, spicier, and warmer. The fresh blossoms of spring and summer are now drifting away into the shadows. I’m unsure about you, but fall has always been reminiscent of dessert-like treats. I love to pull out my gingerbread candles or throw on a vanilla infused perfume during fall and winter seasons.
Living in California, we do not get very much rainfall and as most know we are currently in a drought. I for one, cannot wait to feel raindrops come from above and speckle over my face, refreshing the streets with aromas of petrichor.
