Scent of the Day: La Tulipe by Byredo Perfume Review

La Tulipe by Byredo Perfume Review

La Tulipe is a moist and green tulip in the midst of a spring morning. It has just rained the night before, bringing forth the rich and green aromas of the earth tangled in a web of pink tulips. Freesia, cyclamen, and rhubarb lie in the top notes of this fragrance, though, the heart of pink tulips is most prominent throughout the fragrance. The base is green and earthy with vetiver and woods. La Tulipe is a fresh, clean, and crisp scent to pull us into the spring season. The groundhog may have made a prediction of 6 more weeks of winter, but on the west coast we are feeling the gentle warmth and sunshine of spring already.

This is a perfect fragrance to spray on while trying to drag yourself out of bed and out the door in the morning. It’s refreshing and crisp qualities are cheery and delightful. A fragrance that will calm the nerves and brighten your spirits. La Tulipe is close to the skin and far from overpowering or too strong. A fragrance that is casual and versatile, yet beautiful and elegant.

La Tulipe by Byredo is a blooming tulip in the dawn of spring. An overnight rain has left the tulip wet, crisp, and almost aquatic. Green grasses and trees surround the garden of tulips, bringing in an earthy aroma. Freesia’s and cyclamen also lie in the garden, though, the scent of tulip never drifts. The air is fresh and clean and the sun is clearing away the clouds that brought the overnight rain. Sunshine fills the air and brings forth a beautiful spring day. This is La Tulipe by Byredo.
