Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir is a dark and sexy number, full of oriental woods and a slight Middle Eastern character. This is earthy and powerful with a massive longevity and a sillage that only requires one spray. This is a dirty oud scent that smells of masculinity with woods, leather and spices. The oud is very present, but acts as more of a veil over the entire fragrance. Don’t judge this scent until you have smelled its development after about 30 minutes in. This is a scent that needs to linger and blend with your skin for a bit, before it shows its true nature. The spices, woods, and soft leathery accords barely show until the scent has fully developed, but once they do you are sure to be captured by its gorgeous and complex essence.
Although I have never visited the Middle East myself, this scent is said to capture the image of a formal event held there. This is definitely something that I can imagine, with its oriental composition and zesty spices. It is a rich scent that smells of wealth and class. A unique mix that is so different from the original Versace Pour Homme, that it is surprising that it even shares half of its name. If you are looking for a gorgeous spiced oud with a pinch of dirty, then you won’t be disappointed with Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir.
