Scent of the Day: Bigarade Concentree by Frederic Malle Fragrance Review

Bigarade Concentree Fragrance Review

Our scent of the day isĀ an aromatic-citrus scent full of life and vibrant spring vibes. Bigarade Concentree has an opening of bitter orange and is surrounded by a veil of fresh roses. The base is green with hay, cedar and grass that gives off a fresh and natural character. This is a fragrance that is perfect for a quick pick me up and mixes perfectly with the fresh spring air. This is the fragrance that you want to be wearing in spring and in any other season, where you were wishing it was spring. It is invigorating, clean, and sparkles from its opening of bitter oranges, to its base of fresh greens.

Bigarade Concentree is elegant, mature and well-behaved, but also a fun and comfortable scent. The bitter orange may not last the whole wear (unless maybe sprayed on a scarf or clothes), as it is a top note. Although, the transitions are quite nice and leave you with subtle roses and refreshing whiffs of grass and hay. This is unisex and doesn’t seem to lean towards any one gender in particular. The bitter orange gives a smell of freshly cut orange peels and the rose is so subtle that it never becomes too feminine. The dry down is especially gender neutral with its greens, so don’t be afraid to try this if you think that it may lead one way.
