She claims that her signature scent is the aroma of red wine (being the Cabernet lover that she is). Although, we’ve heard many rumors that she often wears Miss Dior, as she is also the face of the fragrance. Miss Dior is a classy and feminine fragrance featuring notes of mandarin, jasmine, rose, patchouli and musk.
Angeline Jolie’s favorite ‘fume is said to be Blvgari Black. We think that this fragrance fits Jolie perfectly! It is unique, sexy, dark and glamorous, much like many of the roles that Jolie stars in. It has the strangest mix of accords from leather to animalic to green notes, yet it blends into perfection. This fragrance starts off with green tea, rose, and bergamot. The heart is creamy with cedar, sandalwood and jasmine. Then comes the voluptuous, rich base of amber, leather, oakmoss, musk and vanilla. This scent screams Jolie!
Shalimar Parfum Initial by Guerlain
Meryl Streep is said to be a fan of fragrances by Shalimar, which isn’t a big surprise to us either. Shalimar fragrances tend to be full of elegance, class, femininity and warmth. Shalimar scents come with an acquired taste and are usually aimed towards a more classic fragrance generation. Shalimar’s Parfum Initial features a composition that is powdery, airy, woody and sweet. It opens fresh and green and develops into a heart of iris, vetiver and patchouli. The dry down is sweet and creamy with vanilla, tonka bean, caramel and soft musk.
Being both a model and an actor, Eddie Redmayne has been popping up in many places and has even been nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his role in The Danish Girl. When asked about his fragrance by Telegraph, he states, “I spent the night at my parents’ house recently and in my old cupboard was some Hugo Boss aftershave. The moment I sprayed, it it took me straight back to being 15 years old and going on a date. I’m astounded any girl came close to me because I must have stunk. Now I wear Tom Ford Black Orchid.” Tom Ford’s Black Orchid is stylish and bold with its sweet, warm and spicy aroma.
Through our research, we’ve found that Nicole Kidman is a lover of niche fragrances. One niche scent that she is fond of, in particular, is Olene by Diptyque. Olene features a crisp and clean bouquet of white florals. We can definitely see Kidman as a floral lover, can’t you? Olene starts with honeysuckle and narcissus, then developing into more florals of wisteria and jasmine. The base features even more white floral notes and also a hint of green for a fresh, dewy touch.
